The process begins by first searching the applicant’s Social Security Number through a national credit bureau repository (an automated, online search). Both the name and address history belonging to that Social Security Number are returned for evaluation. A listing of the subject’s current and former address history for the most recent 7-year period is then extracted from the Social Security Number trace. County criminal record searches are then processed for all resident addresses. Reports are emailed or faxed back normally within 48-72 hours.
